Peer Support
Decisions about amputation surgery can be incredibly difficult. Talking with someone who has been there before can be a great relief. Fortunately, there are many well-establish peer support programs that can connect you to trained volunteers who can share their knowledge and experience, answer any questions you might have, and help clarify the path ahead.
If you need help to locate an amputee support group in your region, please reach out to the International Confederation of Amputee Associations.
